Don’t panic

I’m 29. Once upon a time, my parents wanted me to go to med school. I wanted to do something else and spent high school and college daydreaming how awesome life was going to be when I was totally independent. Seven years after my bachelor’s, five years after a master’s, four states, three jobs later, and 24 months of heavy research into various career possibilities, I’m ready to start that six-year med program that doesn’t have the “guaranteed admission sans MCATs” business going on. It’s okay, because I just going to keep on keepin’ it real.

First step: Getting my pre-reqs on.

Update: I came to the realization that I really want to go to pharmacy school, so I’m continuing to get my pre-reqs on.
